"Living now in Spain I visited my daughter and she took me to the summer show. I enjoyed my visit to the castle and found the view from the top amazing. Dorset is a lovely county and a visit to the castle is a must." --Colin H.

"I've gone to the castle three times now in the summer holidays to see the castle, farm, and the summer jousting shows which I must say are great. Yes, it's a very good place to visit." --Drake

"We had a full day at Lulworth Castle. The jester Firey Jack was brilliant and we are still laughing about him. The jousting was also excellent." --George C. (Age 5)

"A very lovely place for all the family." --Grace C.

"Beautiful place. I really enjoyed visiting this castle. Thank you." --Marek

"I thought Fiery Jack was amazing! So was the castle, archery, market places and the small train car thing! I would defino come back!" --Olivia

"Just had an excellent week in Dorset and visited the castle - an excellent day was had by all - the castle rebuild is excellent and has been done to show both how the castle was damaged in the fire and also how the repairs have been carried out very sympathetically. An excellent attraction and well worth the admission fee." --Richard S.

"Despite the drizzly weather, our family had a great afternoon. We really enjoyed the jousting and the jester certainly made us laugh. The Knights and Horses were very impressive. We learnt lots from the Medieval Village - wearing armour. Our 8 year old daughter thought 'the Knights were professionals in the joust' and is now a fan of Sir William. At last I filled a life time ambition to try archery and loved it too! Parking was easy and the castle grounds setting superb. A great time. We already plan to come back next year. Thank you." --Alan C.

"It is brilliant in August when they have the jousting and Fiery Jack the jester and the medeival village with all the shows (some very funny, some very interesting.) I would recomend it as all the people there are so friendly! And it is something the whole family will enjoy!" --Anonymous

"As a young man in the TA I stayed at Lulworth Camp, late 1950's. The castle lawn was used for a military review. Sometimes when you have happy memories of a place you're better not returning for any dramatic change ruins the memory. I would hate that to happen with Lulworth." --Hal M.

"I loved this castle. My fiancee at the time and I dreamed of having our wedding celebrated at this wonderful premises. Simply magestic!" --Roxanne A.

"I brought my daughter in law and three grand-daughters to Lulworth Castle in August 2009. They are from Taiwan and wanted to visit a 'Princess Castle'. What a wonderful day, the castle itself was very interesting with interactive activities for children. They also loved the farm and the highlights were of course the Jousting and the Medaeval village where the children could forge their own coin and dress up in armour. I visited them in Taiwan in July 2010 and they are still talking about it. They have their coins safely stored away and my 4 year old grand-daughter can still describe the acrobatic achievements of the Jousters in full detail. A wonderful day out that I shall be repeating soon when I bring other members of my family." --Helen T.
